I decided to go out on my bike – but as the weather looked a little inclement I thought I’d better take my ‘brolly.

Mission accomplished, definitely amused! How long did you have on the timer? Just imagining you setting it up is funny enough … you’re a great sport. George.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/8843323@N08] My fancy DSLR Canon 50D allows either 2 sec or a 10 sec delay, my iPhone, using Gorillcam, allows various times between 3 and 90 seconds. My Canon 50D allows either timer operation or continuous shooting. My much cheaper and older Olympus C-765 allows both at the same time :(
I had to be quick :)
    [http://www.flickr.com/photos/cblorenaturefotos] Thanks – it is jolly isn’t it :)

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/kittenclaw] The brolly is fine – but cycling with one seems a bit fraught! I have seen people doing this on cycle paths in Germany – where back pedal brakes are common :)
